The Northeast Regional Data Center (NERDC) at the University of Florida (UF) has been doing quite a bit with the CICS Socket Interface feature of TCP/IP for MVS. In this session, the CICS system programmer responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of the CICS Socket Interface at UF will share his experiences with you (the good, the bad, and the ugly). You should come away from this session with some useful information which could make your life easier if you attempt to implement the CICS Socket Interface in your CICS environment.
