The purpose of our map was to lay out our own unique vision of Gainesville. We started at Glen Springs Elementary and mapped our way home. On the way, we drew the landmarks that were most important to us in our community. We included our favorite places in town, as well as, the people and animals we usually run into. We learned that we all have a special place in our community. Most importantly, we gained a new sense of community through our buddy arrangement by making a new friend.
