To help UF prepare for changes to state budget and reporting requirements Bridges completed several projects on behalf of the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. Among the recently deployed myUFL projects are the Fringe Benefit Pool for Benefits/Taxes and the Change in Administrative Overhead, FICALT and SPP Allocations.
As the university gears up to adopt a Responsibility Centered Management (RCM) budget model, Bridges has begun several projects, including modification of the Budget Prep module and creation of an All Funds Budget and RCM ledger.
"Bridges utilized its project management system for recent CFO projects. The project teams featured strong project managers, comprehensive planning, analysis, and design, and extensive end-user testing as well as strong communication," says Jim Ferrer, Associate Director, University Finance and Planning.
Work will continue on these important finance module projects through 2009.
