Class Practical Project

As I indicated in my Syllabus, each member of the class will produce a written project during the course of the semester. This assignment will count for 10% of your final score and will be graded on a pass/fail basis, subject to the following RULES:

  1. Length: three typed letter-size pages. Maximum double spaced. One inch margins all around.
  2. Content: Part I (Two pages): Choose any topic covered during the class sessions pertinent to your group only, and write an essay on it. No research is to be conducted outside your textbook and notes.
  3. Content: Part II (One page): tell me what you think we failed to cover when we discussed your chosen topic, or anything you thought would have been interesting. Your name and signature at the bottom of the page.
  4. The Pertinent Class Sessions are those between August 22, 1995 and September 20, 1995, for Group I. Between September 25, 1995, and October 25, 1995 for Group II. Between October 30, 1995 and November 29, 1995 for Group III.
  5. Due dates:
    1. Group I: Monday, September 25, 1995.
    2. Group II: Monday, October 30, 1995.
    3. Group III: Friday, December 1, 1995.
  6. When, Where and How: ALL BEFORE 5:00 PM on the final date. Must be turned in to me personally in my office or to my secretary, Pamela Smith, in the secretarial pool office.
