Practical Project

As I indicate in my Syllabus, each member of the class will produce a written project during the course of the semester. This assignment will count for 10% of your final testing score and will be graded on a pass/fail basis, subject to the following RULES:

1. Content:

  1. Identify the url for one website that you have used during the course of the semester to supplement our class discussion, and that you have found to be genuinely helpful. Write one paragraph about why you have found it useful.
  2. As to the material that we have already covered, identify one bibliographical resource of any kind that you think treats that material in a manner useful to you. Explain why.
  3. Designate one topic that you would like us to discuss during the course of the semester and identify one bibliographical reference to that topic. References can be to books or book chapters, law review or interdisciplinary published scholarship, or to other scholarly printed materials. Explain why you wish to study that topic and why the material you chose would be appropriate.

2. Submission: Should be printed on letter sized paper and there is no length limitation, though they should be at least two double-spaced pages long.

3. When, Where and How: DUE DATE: ALL ESSAYS MUST BE DELIVERED ON OR BEFORE 5:00 P.M. Monday, March 20, 2006. The essays must be turned in to me, before or after class or in my office, or to my secretary, Betty Donaldson, in the secretarial pool office. Early submission is fine. Submission as e-mail attachment is also fine.
