AMERICAN PRINT ALLIANCE - a consortium of 18 regional printmaking organizations, undoubtedly the most important network for printmakers and connoisseurs on the American continent. The Alliance is a nonprofit organization under the direction of Dr. Carol Pulin that organizes international traveling exhibitions of works on paper and publishes an excellent critical journal on original prints and printmaking titled, Contemporary Impressions . The SOUTHERN GRAPHICS COUNCIL is an organization of over 800 printmakers, art educators, historians, collectors and dealers interested in the art of the print. Everything from traditional methods to advanced computer generated graphics and theory is shared in annual conferences which are attended by members from across the U.S. and countries abroad.
