The web system and the links are the pivotal concepts for the project Gen. A web site makes it plausible to extend that idea to the real Internet. The pseudo-physicality we experience from it like talking, pointing, traveling, shopping, even seeing and hearing is more virtual than we believe as one gets more used to it. Being received and complied almost exclusively by mind and mouse activity, the realm of the web world contests our sense of reality by its very existence of electronic pause all around us. The terms constantly being used to describe it such as home, plugin, scape, and sight is perceived dramatically differently from the original physical context. Its effect on the human activity and culture meaning are topics that will be explored on this site in the future. Javascript will also be used to create a more active interface and to increase the capacity of portraying critical issues on the net. At this point the function of the site is more of a showcase of my art projects. While showing works, ideas, and changes it is an artist's statement as an ensemble.
