A variety of US federal and state agencies are involved in managing the Everglades. They include the Florida Water Management Districts, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and the Florida Office of Ecosystem Management.
Various environmental groups have published information about the Everglades. These groups include the Wilderness Society, the Sierra Club and the South Florida Environmental Reader.
Everglades National Park and Big Cypress National Preserve are two of the National Parks in the Everglades Ecosystem.
